Moi Magazine – Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions apply to all purchases made through the Moi Magazine online shop (“we”, “us”, “our”). By purchasing from our website, you agree to the following terms.

1. General

Moi Magazine is an independent publication offering both physical and digital products, including magazines and digital downloads.

We reserve the right to update or change these Terms & Conditions at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website.

2. Digital Products

Digital products include, but are not limited to, digital magazines, PDFs, and downloadable content.

No refunds on digital products

Due to the nature of digital products:

• All digital product sales are final

• Digital products are non-refundable and non-exchangeable

• Once a digital product has been purchased and downloaded, it cannot be returned

By completing your purchase, you acknowledge that you are purchasing a digital product and waive any right to a refund or exchange except where required by Australian Consumer Law.

If you experience technical issues accessing your digital product, please contact us at [your email address] and we will assist you.

3. Physical Products

For physical products (such as printed magazines):

• We take care to package orders securely

• We are not responsible for delays caused by postal services once your order has been dispatched

If your item arrives damaged or faulty, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos and your order number.

Refunds or replacements will be assessed in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.

4. Subscriptions and Pre-orders

Some items in our store may be offered to you as a subscription, a pre-order or try before you buy. This cancellation policy lays out how you can change or cancel these kinds of purchases.

 
Subscriptions (Memberships)
When you purchase a subscription you'll receive repeat deliveries. These are based on the subscription duration and frequency that you select.

Your payment details will be stored securely and you'll be charged for each of these deliveries. 

Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of their duration. If you don't want to renew a subscription you can cancel it. Subscriptions are billed automatically as each issue is released, four times a year, and can be cancelled at any time unless the magazine has already been shipped.

Pre-orders
When you purchase a pre-order, you are buying an out-of-stock or soon-to-be-available product not yet in inventory. We may collect no payment or a partial deposit at checkout, store your payment method, then fulfill and charge the full or remaining payment at a future date.

You can cancel a partially paid pre-order order that has not yet been fulfilled. If the order has been fulfilled, then you can't cancel the order, but you can request a full or partial refund. See our returns policy for more details on returns and refunds.

5. Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes, restricts or modifies any rights you may have under Australian Consumer Law.

You are entitled to a replacement or refund for major failures, and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage, where applicable.

6. Intellectual Property

All content sold or published by Moi Magazine, including text, images, design and digital files, remains the intellectual property of Moi Magazine or its contributors.

You may not:

• Copy, reproduce, share or distribute digital products

• Resell or commercially exploit any content

• Upload or share purchased digital products publicly or privately

Purchases grant personal use only.

7. Pricing & Payments

All prices are listed in AUD unless otherwise stated.

We reserve the right to change pricing at any time without notice.

Payment must be received in full at the time of purchase.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Moi Magazine will not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from the use of our products or website.

9. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Australia. Any disputes will be handled in accordance with Australian law.
